Typhoid Mary by Anthony Bourdain

In honor of the late Tony Bourdain, given the recent biopic, I wanted to mention this underappreciated book that he wrote on Typhoid Mary. It's a mix of medical mystery and true crime and culinary history, expertly and entertainingly navigated by Bourdain. I think there's still a group of us out there who haven't fully recovered from his loss; re-reading some of his works might help to fill this void.
